Tired of waiting so long for a bus? Red Deer Needs More Transit.

Transit connects people in Red Deer to the places that make our community thrive. Buses not only help people get to work, they also make our city more accessible for the elderly and disabled. 

But that doesn’t mean transit always works the way you need it to when you need it. We still have not returned to the amount of service we had before the pandemic. We could use new and better routes in our growing city to return to full service. We also need shuttles after 8 pm so people aren’t waiting a long time in the evening. 

More routes where people need them would help people get to work, shop, and get to medical appointments. More frequent buses on existing routes would make it easier for our growing population to get where they need to go.
